Dr. Zadeh
graduated from the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary
medicine in 2002. Dr. Zadeh initially was interested in
pursuing a career in zoo and exotic animal medicine, but her
subsequent internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in
Boston convinced Dr. Zadeh that her true calling was critical
care medicine.
After her
internship she worked for a year as an emergency veterinarian at
Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey and then returned to
Angell to do a residency in Emergency and Critical Care
Medicine. Dr. Zadeh completed the residency program in July
2007.
Dr. Zadeh’s
special areas of interests include mechanical ventilation,
sepsis, and transfusion medicine. She is a member of the
Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the American
Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Zadeh has two cats of her
own, Oscar and Lulu.
Outside
interests include cooking, knitting/quiliting, playing ultimate
frisbee and swimming.
