Sonja Lapinski, DVM

Emergency

Dr. Lapinski was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, went to college at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. She then spent several years doing field biology work and traveling before starting veterinary school at Oregon State. She has spent the last 7 summers fishing commercially for salmon in Bristol Bay, Alaska. Besides veterinary medicine, her interests include making art, birding, being outside snuggling her furry son, Shadow Ninja (a Chihuahua mix) and trying to help save the world.

Dr. Lapinski hopes her career path can include small animal emergency, international veterinary service work, mixed animal practice, shelter medicine, and/or wildlife medicine.
