DESCRIPTION: The veterinary technician's role in this practice is to promote a friendly and professional environment where emphasis is placed on quality medical care, client education and teamwork. The veterinary technician is instrumental in providing support to, clients, patients and doctors. This position is demanding and rewarding, but frequently stressful. Whatever the circumstances, it is the technician's duty to project the competence and empathy that is fundamental to our practice philosophy.

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

DESCRIPTION:
A Diagnostic Ultrasound Professional that is qualified by professional credentialing and academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, had demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARDMS certification(s) which is the standard of practice in ultrasound.

SALARY: Varies by experience and skill level

Education and Experience Required/Preferred:
Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is required
Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
