Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty
& Emergency Center Opens Second Location

NEWS RELEASE | April 21, 2005

Tucson, AZ – The Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center has opened a second location on Tucson’s eastside, according to Jay Zimmer, Administrator.

The veterinary group practice of board certified veterinary specialists has remodeled a building it purchased at 7474 E. Broadway. The 9,500 square foot building enables the specialists to provide expanded diagnostic services and a new cardiology service.

Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center was established in 1994, one of the first animal group specialist practices in the United States. The group practice currently provides dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology and surgery services as well as 24-hour emergency and critical care services and a pain management clinic. Its first location is at 141 E. Fort Lowell Road. The telephone number is 520-888-3177.
