When Dr. Mosley was growing up, his family would take
vacations every summer to visit his grandparents’ farm in
Oklahoma. Dr. Mosley was young at the time, but he noticed how
his grandfather’s job allowed him the double benefit of helping
both people and animals. Dr. Mosley also noticed how much his
grandfather was loved by his family and by the community. When
it came time to go to college, he remembered these things and
decided to become a veterinarian, himself.
Having grown up in Corpus Christi, Texas, Dr. Mosley went to
Texas A&M University. He graduated with a BS in Biomedical
Science in 1999. He then went directly into veterinary school
and graduated in 2003.
Before coming to Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and
Emergency, Dr. Mosley worked in small town veterinary practices
in South Texas and Northern Arizona as a general practitioner.
The small town settings contributed to building his experience
with seeing emergencies after hours for his own clients. It is
this emergency work that eventually led to working in Veterinary
Emergency with Southern Arizona Veterinary. Dr. Mosley has
interests in both medicine and surgery and is a member of
several professional organizations.
Dr. Mosley enjoys hiking, golfing and traveling. On the more
spirited side, Dr. Mosley enjoys riding motorcycles and has
recently taken up ballroom dancing.
