Dr. Lewis, a board certified veterinarian in animal dermatology, is a published authority on animal skin and fur medical problems. His articles have been published in numerous scientific journals, including "The New England Journal of Medicine" and "The Journal of Veterinary Dermatology."

Dr. Thomas Lewis is an 1982 graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelors degree in Bioagriculture. In 1986, he graduated from Colorado State University, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lewis completed a residency in dermatology in private practice.

Upon completion of all requirements, Dr. Lewis was awarded board certification as a Diplomate in 1991 by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (DACVD). A Diplomate signifies advanced training and is the highest medical designation for veterinarians.

In addition to his practice in Arizona, Dr. Lewis provides specialist care to animals in New Mexico, West Texas, Utah and Nebraska.
