Many of the 17 specialists on staff at SAVSEC are recognized leaders in anesthesiology, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology, surgery and emergency/critical care. They are educators as well as clinicians who believe in mentoring their associates and colleagues to help build a better understanding in the world of animal medicine. (Our clinicians participate in continuing education seminars that are a regular part of the professional services the Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center offers to referring Arizona veterinarians.)

Both health care facilities are equipped with the latest medical equipment and technology backed by a dedicated and highly trained support staff. Our hospitals are managed by a professional hospital administrator who oversees a staff of over 85 employees.
