Why Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center?

..... because we care about your pet, just ask your vet!

Our board certified specialists at two locations work with your Veterinarian on caring and effective treatment for your pets. Our Eastside Hospital is on the corner of Broadway and Prudence and our Central Hospital is one block east of Stone, on Ft. Lowell. Both locations also house 24 hour Emergency Centers.

Quality Veterinary Care

We know your pet is a vital part of your family. Your veterinarian is similar to your family doctor, your first place to go for help and diagnosis. Just like your own doctor, your pet's doctor may refer you to a specialist. We have been providing specialty care for animals in Tucson and Southern Arizona since 1994.

Access to Advances in Animal Medical Care

We provide you and your pet access to the advances in research, technology and medications that have improved the way veterinarians practice animal medicine. We participate in clinical trials whenever possible to help improve future medical care and treatment for our patients and veterinary medicine.

We specialize in all areas of animal health-care and pain relief for your pet. We're always here ready to serve you and your family veterinarian when your pet is in need of advanced medical care.

SAVSEC in the news

We're open when your family veterinarian's office is closed... nights, weekends and holidays - 24/7

Few aspects of pet ownership are more terrifying than when your pet has taken ill in the middle of the night or during weekend hours when your veterinarian's office is closed. Our Emergency Service is here to care for your pet under these circumstances, and we are no farther away than your phone, 24 hours a day. We treat a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions affecting dogs and cats. When you arrive, your pet will be examined and assessed by one of our emergency veterinarians who will explain the treatment options available to you. (Please remember that cases are seen on the basis of need, with the most severely affected patients being seen first).
